Terms of service

You must actively accept these Terms before completing your VeilPlume account. Acceptance does not transfer ownership of your writing or uploaded material to VeilPlume.

About VeilPlume

VeilPlume is an independently operated writing and worldbuilding product based in Sweden, trading under the VeilPlume brand. For product support, complaints or questions about these terms, contact veilplumebookauthor@gmail.com.

Current availability

VeilPlume is in development. The public demo is free; its fictional sample edits reset when reloaded. The full workspace currently has restricted access. Purchases are not open. Descriptions of planned features are not a promise that those features are available today.

Using the workspace

Use VeilPlume only for lawful purposes and content you are entitled to use. Do not interfere with the service, bypass access controls, distribute the software without permission or misuse another person’s account. Keep your sign-in account secure. Contact us if access appears incorrect.

Your writing belongs to you

You retain ownership of your manuscripts, images and worldbuilding material. VeilPlume does not claim publishing rights to your work. The app’s software, branding and sample material remain the property of their respective owners. Workspace access permits you to use the writing tools for your own projects, including commercial writing.

Local saving and backups

Books are stored in the browser profile on the device you use. Signing in does not sync or back up books. Different browsers, devices and website addresses have separate storage. Browser cleanup, private browsing, device loss or storage eviction can remove local work. Download backups regularly and keep original imported files. Read the backup and recovery guide before relying on the workspace. We cannot retrieve local-only books from our servers.

Pricing and future purchases

The planned launch price is US$39 for the first 100 customers, followed by US$59, as described on the pricing section. The intended purchase is one payment for workspace access, with no subscription or recurring feature charge. When checkout opens, the checkout will show the price, applicable taxes and included product before you pay. Do not purchase on the assumption that an unreleased feature, native app or cloud sync will be supplied.

For purchases processed through Paddle, Paddle acts as the merchant of record and authorised reseller. Its checkout terms govern the payment transaction. VeilPlume provides the product and product support. See our refund policy for payment problems and cancellation rights.

Availability, changes and your rights

Development previews may change or be interrupted. Internet access is needed for sign-in and access checks; offline use requires preparation on the same browser profile. Compatibility and offline behaviour vary by device. We will describe material changes to a paid offering before sale and will not use later terms to remove rights attached to an existing purchase.

We may restrict access where necessary to address abuse or security risks. Contact us to challenge an access decision. These terms do not exclude mandatory consumer guarantees, remedies for defective digital products, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. You may use the consumer protections and courts available under applicable law in your country.
